How To Read Progressed Chart Transits
Do you know your progressed birth chart signs? The phases of life that you go through, especially as you get older, are really dependent on what zodiac sign your progressed Sun, progressed Moon, progressed rising, progressed Mercury, progressed Venus, and so on, is in.
As an astrologer, I look at my birth chart over and over again, so I can understand the differences in the aspects I have between energies in me. After all, the birth chart is the foundation of our energies for a lifetime! But when I look at my progressed birth chart transits and combine those energies with my natal chart placements, everything I am experiencing in my life starts to make a lot more sense.
To show you how to read progressed chart transits, I’m going to use my own birth chart as an example. I had the question looking at my birth chart, “Why am I still learning relationship issues, that I know are in my birth chart, over and over again?”
Progressed Moon in my Progressed Chart
Since my natal chart wasn’t providing enough clues into what energy transits I was currently going through in my life, I looked at how my progressed moon is affecting my natal placements, and sure enough, I saw that my progressed moon in Cancer is conjuncting my Chiron in Cancer!
You may be wondering, what does Chiron represent in the birth chart? Chiron represents your “wounded healer”, also known as the area of your birth chart where your behaviors may not be as strong and in balance. Patterns of behavior in your Chiron placement may have started from a trauma or difficult experience in your early childhood, which created a programming for healing as you grow.
For me, having this progressed moon and natal chiron conjunction likely indicates that this merging of energies is creating a force of emotional healing for me right now directly in the center of my relationships. I’m able to now understand I’m going through a real deep phase of healing, and figuring out why my relationships haven't been working, and what I need to do for myself to boost my energy forward. What a relief!
Progressed Venus in my Progressed Chart
Next up in looking at how to read progressed chart transits, I looked at my progressed Venus sign, and I found out that my progressed Venus in Scorpio is conjunct my natal Pluto in Scorpio, which also is trining that conjunction in Cancer I just mentioned! Wow! What a powerful force of water energy I am growing through!
Progressed Venus conjunct Natal Pluto is going to indicate a very deep time of transformation as I start to love myself more deeply and open to receiving attraction from a healed place. This energy merger in Scorpio shows me that right now in my life, I require a lot of intensity and a lot of work on getting in tune with my intuition. I can expect myself to experience internalization of energy and a lot of experience that will help me heal my inner divine feminine core.
Progressed Sun in my Progressed Chart
One of the reasons why you may not feel like your sun sign, is because you may be connecting more with your progressed sun sign! When I look at my natal Venus in Libra, it is conjunct my progressed sun in Libra, as well as my progressed Mercury in Libra. There's a lot of energy with the planet Mars in Libra close by in my birth chart as well! It’s no wonder I may not feel so Leo like at times! Mars is a key player here in this zodiac sign party in my birth chart, as it wants to push me forward in communicating and expressing what I feel is fair, what I feel is truly loving, and divinely attuned in my relationships. A lot of work is coming up for me to heal these cycles and that could indicate why I'm still not in partnership because I'm still in a process of healing.
Because I can see and understand this path of evolution for me now, I can take a deep breath and let go of all the tension I may have been holding in about feeling like I’m “stuck” in the same patterns or will never find my true love. Not at all! Instead, I can look at my experience and figure out the lessons I’m supposed to learn much more quickly.
Progressed Chart Reading Benefits
Understanding these progressed placements for myself is a huge help for letting go of the resistance to accepting what is currently happening in my life right now. Knowing that life themes will be changing soon enough when my progressed moon enters Leo, and that I'm nearing the end of this progression cycle, also gives me a lot of hope and inspiration into the next phase of my development energetically. Through the progressed chart, you'll start to see that there are certain purposes and phases in your life where you start to go beyond your birth chart and develop even deeper all the energies inside of you.

I'm now at 0 degree Libra for my sun progression, and so for the next 30 years, I'm going to probably be attracted to and align with people who have Libra Energy more and more, so that I can develop my progressed Libra sun sign in a deeper way.
